Cantonese Opera as platform 

 

The design project is a series of spatial and architectural propositions that explores ways to shape alternative approaches to preserve and sustainably develop Cantonese Opera in Hong Kong. The current design direction advocates for a shift in the strategic focus from world-class cultural icons and institutions, to the envisioning of a versatile, networked, and collective spatial strategy.

 

The design project is an ongoing and iterative process of experimentation, revision, evaluation. It is informed by, argued for, and reflected upon with research.
